App: THE Table Tennis (ザ・卓球 table tennis)Last updated: 23 September 2026

Shiraishi ("we", "us") provides the iOS app "THE Table Tennis" (the "App"). This policy explains how information is handled in the App.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information through the App. The App never asks for your name, email address, phone number, postal address or date of birth, and no account or sign-up is required. Nothing you enter or record in the App is sent to us — we do not operate a server.

2. Data stored only on your device

The following is stored only on your device (in iOS UserDefaults) and is never transmitted:

• your selected language (Japanese or English)
• your remaining coins
• your story mode progress
• which rubbers you own
• the name (nickname) you type for a local match
• a short-lived cache of the "Other apps" list (refreshed daily)

All of it is deleted from your device when you delete the App.

3. Advertising

The App shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob so that you can earn more coins. An ad plays only when you tap the button yourself; ads are never forced on you.

To serve those ads, Google and its partners may collect and use your advertising identifier (IDFA), device information, approximate location (country or region derived from your IP address) and records of ad impressions and interactions. That data is handled under Google's privacy policy, and we never receive it.

Consent In regions where consent is required, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App presents Google's consent management (UMP) form on first launch. You can change your choice later: in those regions an "Ad settings" button is shown in the App.

App Tracking Transparency iOS asks you once whether the App may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the App works exactly the same and the ads you see are simply non-personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
